Any fix for PS3 gunbattle stutter?

Hi all,

I've just got BO2 for PS3 - I have it on XB360 too but I now have a PS4 so I'd rather use similar joypads all the time.

The problem is that it has serious stuttering issues, especially during gun battles (the worst possible time), which are making it impossible to play. It seems like the console is trying to read something of the disk half the time too. I've installed the textures or whatever that thing is, but I've not been able to install the whole game like on the Xbox.

Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

What's your connection? My connection's Cable broadband, so I had a pretty powerful uplink/download speed.

I have the game for PS3, and I've never had to install the game - ever.

Also, did you patch your game to the latest update for BO2?
