Experiencing Random Crashes in Call of Duty

Hi everyone,

I am reaching out because I’ve been having a frustrating issue with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Lately; the game has been crashing randomly without any warning or error message. This problem started occurring about a week ago; and it’s significantly impacting my gaming experience.

I have ensured that my graphics drivers are up to date with the latest version available from NVIDIA/AMD. I ran the file verification process through the game launcher to check for any corrupt or missing files.

I monitored my system temperatures to make sure that overheating isn’t the cause of the crashes; Also I tried lowering the graphics settings and resolution to see if that made any difference; but the crashes continued.

I performed a clean reinstall of the game to rule out any installation issues.

I disabled / uninstalled any third-party software that could be conflicting with the game; such as overlays or monitoring tools.

Despite these efforts, the problem persists. The crashes seem to occur at random intervals – sometimes during gameplay; sometimes in the menu – and there doesn’t seem to be a consistent pattern.

Has anyone else encountered similar issues with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II? If so; what steps did you take to resolve the crashes?

I am particularly interested in any potential fixes / troubleshooting steps that I might have missed.

Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

my two buddies and I have been fighting these HARD since the last big update.

Random drops and horrible spikes of lag, Getting knocked out when going thru a T3 rift in Zombies to a T5 zone. The other night us three bounced on and one of my buddies was stoked to go rock OG T5 and he scorches away to hit a T3 triangle rift he gets 2 bounces away and poof hes gone.
Texted us both he lost all his crap and hes loading in to do a rebuild run, He will see us in the next round and he was PISSED.

Yep happened to me too like 3 nights before that I dropped JUST as we were about to go from red worm to OG T5

The really honestly never needed to install an unstable rift as the effing game is unstable already.

Oh hows this kicker we load in 2nd game last night we pop in and we have a birds eye view of the bridge entrance from the city section T2 into T3 and we are both like WTF oh man were glitched then the timer starts counting down like we just dropped off the chopper but were both still bodyless with just that view it hits 0 and then about 10 seconds later when were like OH EFFE POP we load in across the map near a load in point by the military base. We open our gear its all there or so we thought.
we both lost all of our containment levels we had no perks from it and NO cash when we loaded in.

I would bet at least 1 time a week at least one of us drops from the game due to their shitty fucking servers.

Hell sometimes all 3 of us get the boot connection terminated.. its like 50/50 their if we get our gear back and its never what we went in with its always what we had in our bags minus disposable none carry over stuff. IE 8 Kaz and 3 sentries poof gone The legendary and flawless we USED to get out of the triangle rift was still there but everything else Nope like it never happened and SOMEtimes in those we kept containment levels sometimes we did not...
