Question For Frequent Flyers

I'll be flying to Arizona in a few weeks.. This will be the first time I fly without being able to carry my weapons on the plane.. Before I would just show my shield and be done with it..

Now I have to pack my weapons in a case and put them in the checked luggage...

TSA Guidelines are very clear about whether or not weapons should be unloaded... But they are less clear about whether the clips can be packed or not..



The weapons are unloaded and have no clips in the weapons.. But the clips are fully packed...

Is this permissible?? TSA Guidelines are not very clear on this point..

I am hoping that someone with experience might clarify this for me..

That's not completely accurate..

Clips refer to magazines that are completely contained within the weapon.

Magazines are clips that extend outside the weapon...

It's common for people to inter-change the two, so it's not really any big deal..

Yea, but as I mentioned, it's been a while since I have flown with my weapons..

And gods know how bad things have been frak'ed up in the last few years..

TSA isn't being very clear in it's instructions..

I see. But I was responding in jest, as a joking manner. I thought that was funny. Sneako goes "see my clips!?" And Moist is out here goin' like "You absolute baffoon, what you have there is a MAGAZINE, not a clip." In reference to the way he holds the magazine. They're both correct, but they're just arguing semantics.
