Usually, this gets fixed in 24 hours or something like that. Activision or whomever is doing the fixing should already be seeing this through Social Media. The more people nag Activision about a specific issue, the more it gets fixed. Except for SBMM.

Besides, the server is getting overloaded at the moment, with everyone trying to get into Warzone "3."

So I really was not expecting that and kinda clicked keep going and lost my rank. I really hope they give my rank and weapons back because if I have to reset I will probably just find another game to play. Really sucks man. Thats a messed up glitch I really was not expecting. Also that really seams like an intentional glitch.

I'm gonna say this right now: Don't expect it. Do not expect Activision to reverse your rank to from when you press "Yes."

This is not the first "reset" we've been through. It's just the first time we've seen a glitch affect a reset...

Losing my rank which I don't remember exactly what it was but it was it would have been over 650. Your telling me because of there glitch I will end up losing my rank. I have only been playing a few months and I like cod mostly. But I don't want to play a game the has no back for these situations. There glitch did and they should definately fix it. It's not even really the rank. It's the loss of all the weapons etc. And what about paid weapons and skins. I mean they totally reset my account. Maybe your right and they won't but if they don't they are wrong for that.

I'm gonna start by saying I've been following Call of Duty since 2007, when CoD4 caught word of mouth among casuals.

For the last few years, Activision has been screwing up so bad... you're not even surprised anymore. When they did the integration bullshit, glitches everywhere. Hell, some people even had their ranks reset. It was a minority number though.

And since the crossplay feature, players have had their accounts hacked. Again, minority, secluded amount - Activision couldn't restore the account 100%. There's varying different situations where, this reset fix doesn't work. Look, I'm sorry about your situation, I really am... but I've seen enough stories that I find it hard to believe that Activision is going to help restore your mistaken reset.

Dmz is so broken now takes ages to load into and the ai are twenty times harder and the sweatys in there now is ridiculous

They have made it impossible to play and are trying to force you to buy that rubbish mw3

I didn't have any rank in MW3 so I just clicked on YES to reset the rank..

My main concern was it would ruin my stats from MWII/DMZ, but we're good there.

So I fired up MWII and did that update then went back to MWIII and had my stuff back but had to rebuild my load-outs as it only showed default just glad at least all my stuff was now there ;-)

So you lost your all your weapons but not your rank? They reset mine 100% to nothing rank and all. I only have 1 loadout. Shouldn't matter if we press a button that is not supposed to be there in the first place. I know I will never put another dime into this game though. Not if it's that easy to lose it all.
