3rd insured weapon problem

Hi, not sure if this has been discussed before. This morning I finally unlocked my 3rd insured weapon. I managed to play with all 3 in a first mission then of course got killed. It's 4 hours ago and I can now only load my first 2 insured weapons. Any thoughts please?

If I understand it correctly you have to successfully exfil or you will lose it. I dont play this mode so I cannot say for sure. There is something to do with cooldowns as well.

Hi, thanks for that. I get that you'll lose it but thought after a set cool down period you'd start with it
again as per the 1st 2 insured slots

1st slot is an hour 2nd 2 hour 3rd 3 hour unless you have 15 min cooldown weapons or you have some cool down time, other then that i wouldnt know. i have not had any issues with it. and i only use 15 min cool down weapons.

Thanks much appreciated. I also use 15 minute weapons but still same problem. I'm having to do a quick solo mission, find a medium back pack then extract. Only then can I load all 3 weapons in following games. If I die I lose the backpack then have to start over again......

unless you have a secure backpack you will loose what you have if you die and you will have to wait the cool down time for weapon.

and if you get one and die you will loose it too

and you will need one for some missions to be able to extract with items you have to take to another map.

That seems really unfair of Dmz creators. After trying for months to unlock the 3rd weapon you die and lose it until you get a secure backpack only to die and lose it again....? Thanks for your response though.

i guess you dont understand how it works.once you unlock insured weapon slot you dont loose weapon slot. you can continue to use any weapon you have in slot once it cools down.now any weapon you pick up in game is contraband so if you die in game you will loose contraband weapon. watch videos on youtube on any of this stuff and you will gain alot of knowledgs on how it all works.

I can see all 3 weapons in their slots but it looks like the only way I can load the 3rd is if I have a medium backpack otherwise if I try to load the 3rd the spare slots where for example you can load a key or a stronghold card for example are greyed out for other weapons. . Would you have a link please?

You can only take 2 weapons in unless you have a backpack that will carry a third. You can use an available weapon in your third insurer slot as one of your two weapons, but again you only carry three of one IDs in a backpack. Hope this helps
