Black Ops maps in Black Ops II

A number of past Call of Duty titles have used dlc map packs as a means to introduce a previous title's maps into a more recent game. Do any of you like the idea of bring a few of the better Black Ops maps into Black Ops II?

They really are two very different games in terms of how level schemes were designed to work with the load outs and capabilities of the in game soldiers. There's a decent argument to be made that Black Ops maps aren't particularly well suited to the play styles Black Ops II encourages. Still, if given an option , I'd love to see Summit and Firing Range added. I wouldn't mind I think WMD is actually particularly well suited as a candidate for BO II as it's level design seems to facilitate a wide range of play styles.

Any thoughts? Want to see old maps in the game? Hate the idea and only want new maps?

There is nothing wrong with that, in my opinion, as long as the maps are free. Paying for recycled maps would be terrible. However, adding older maps in the game, to add to the newer ones, would add more variety to the game.

The new map pack to be released will have a different version of Firing Range.

I would also love to see Summit, basically exactly how it was. Loved that map and that would entice me to get the DLC.

Summit was a fantastic map and very much seems to fit in with the map design trends of BO2. I also think Radiation would be particularly well suited to BO2. Those were two incredibly balanced maps. Plus, I love trolling people by opening and shutting the door on them. I know it's wrong, but I giggle everytime.

I don't mind them adding older maps to Black Ops 2, as long as they receive a similar treatment as Firing Range. If it's a straight out port without any difference whatsoever, I'd say that is just bad, if I played it before I have no incentive to do it again. Now, if they actually flesh it out like Studio, keeping the layout from Firing Range, but giving it a completely new setting, I say bring the old maps then!

I wish they would've brought back some old maps from mw2 to mw3.

It would've been awesome if they brought rust back.
