Branching Storyline in Infinite Warfare?

OK, so I've been watching a lot of videos and reading a lot of articles. And it says that Call of Duty will be about the ''Burden of Making Choices'', ''You get to decide who lives and who dies'' and ''More Player Agency than ever before'', does this mean that the game will have a Branching Storyline? Because Black Ops II So far is the game with the most Player Agency.

I have this theory that this will be a sub-series equal to Mass Effect. And that what choices you do will affect Infinite Warfare 2, Infinite Warfare 3 and so on. So killing Salen, the implications will be like the implications with Menendez, but it will continue on into the next game, with references and all that. And if you spare Salen and agree something with him, he would still be alive in the next game.

I'm really not sure. But they did say ''More Player Agency Than Before''.

It's not even a question anymore. At Call of Duty XP, Infinity Ward said the storyline is based around Black Ops 2's "Player Agency" mechanic. At first, I was confused as to what Player Agency was, but when they took the stage to talk about the story - I connected the dots. Player Agency allows the player to branch their story off to a new direction based on their own choices in that game.

In Black Ops 2, you had a few choices to make on each and every "valley" in the story. For example, you had a choice to either kill Menedez, or let him live. The story changes on that fact, then therefore changes the ending. There are more than 3 endings in Black Ops 2, none of them carried over to Black Ops 3, sadly. Infinity Ward wants Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare to have a universe of its own, but that depends on your feedback or sales for CODIW.

I didn't hear anything about Blacks Ops II, but he did say More Player Agency. So I'd expect the campaign to have a Branching Storyline.

I wonder what the consequences will be for Killing Salen.

Since there's more than one faction in this game, I'm thinking someone else becomes more dangerous than Salen. Whatever it is, it's going to be that "another big bad." It's like in Suits (love that show), it's just one bad thing after another bad thing, and then it gets worse after that.
