Downloading Updates Taking Hours

Downloading Updates taking 1 to 3 hours to complete. Can’t play multiplayer during downloading. It happens too often and frustrating. Is this normal? I have PS4 and on Mediacom.
 
I wish my updates only took 1 to 3 hours. 4+ is more like it. I was away for a week and had a 20 G update yesterday when I got back and today it's in the middle of a 25 g update. Totally ridiculous. It seems I spend more time installing updates than playing the game.

Actually this one is well over 30gb.
