Hi All, interesting discussion. Firstly, I'm just a player, on PC. I've played FPS since 2005 and the first Far Cry (yes, that old!). I work full time and have done 24 years in the RAF and served in the Middle East, the gameplay is not really representative but I don't expect it to be. For our group the cheaters are the worst aspect of CoD because despite all the talk, nothing is done. Being able to report them gives a little relief but thats all. I play both Multiplayer and Warzone and I could probably list the irritating aspects of both arenas 
Right now I work as a software tester and I do find it irritating that some basic faults with the game are never addressed. Why haven't they sorted out the problem with Directx? It's been around for years. We don't buy skins or bundles unless it's for a particular weapon and we never buy the expensive version of the game, we just play for a couple of hours a night. I'm from the UK, the rest are from the US/Canada. Yes the UK went woke, mostly driven by the media but there is a fight back now, with thousands of people refusing to pay for the BBC because of their political views. We are waiting for Battlefield 6, we liked Battlefield4 and loved Vietnam but felt later editions lost their way. Who wants to take 10 mins to get to the objective, get shot and have to repeat? So we will definitely give the beta a go and maybe jump ship if the gameplay suits us, I think we represent the casual players that Carlos mentions.
My ultimate wish? For someone to develop a game where, when cheaters initiate cheating software they light up bright red for 20 seconds and then blow apart and can't get back into the game See you out there.

Damn you have WAY more patience than I do. I waited 5 min and never saw the que move at all did not know if it did or not but I was like Meh fudge it I'll go play zombies and check in a bit but never went back
Yeah, THAT surprised me when that happened. Diablo II Resurrection's beta had you waiting for minutes on-end, here... they (BF6 Beta) got you in faster.
No, you waited at least a minute. Because even if you weren't in the queue, the matchmaking was looking for a new match for you.

First off Blazko lost me when claiming sitting behind a computer screen and keyboard whilst doing software programming causes 'blood sweat and tears' (I mean no offense to you tech guys) but he wants to try patrolling hostile (warzone) streets , fields and towns for up to sixteen hours a day , seeing what a mess an ied or high velocity rounds make of a human body then going to a friend's military funeral after he was hit by a .50 cal sniper then he'll truly know what blood sweat and tears are !
Second , I was a huge COD fan and still hope they will go back to their roots but like a lot of you stopped playing. Cod 3 was my first and cold war was my last. I had enough of the childish stupidity and rampant cheating.
I've just finished the BF6 open beta weekend , I played BF 1 but not much so I'm a BF noob really.
The good imo it looks and sounds like a military shooter no childish bs to be seen.
As I say I'm a BF noob so the weapon handling is going to take a bit of getting used to especially the 'bloom' mechanic but all guns felt solid , I didn't drive or fly any vehicles but boy did they add to the atmosphere of the game play !
In cod I mainly just ran solo playing tdm reading the mini map and preempting my teammates and enemy movements , I couldn't do that in bf6 and be successful .
You have to work as a squad (I think that's the norm for bf ?) but I was playing with other randoms in my squad and despite trying to revive , resupply and move as a squad it was never going to work unless everyone was on the same page , this didn't work 90% of the time but when I did get matched with a couple of other players (probably long time BF players) it felt good , really good !
Maps were small for BF and TBH they did get very chaotic (imagine a bigger shipment with tanks and the environment exploding).
I play on PS5 so opted to turn off cross play , despite player counts being huge a lot of the time there were no lobbies for PS5 , you'd be waiting for 10-15 mins and only see two to four players join then leave when no one else joined , glitch that can be fixed I hope ?
I didn't see any cheats but the Internet says otherwise. It'll be interesting to see if dices anti cheat system has got more teeth than Activision's.
I'm looking forward to next weekend and hope they throw in some bigger maps.
I won't be preordering bf6 but am optimistic it'll be great not just good!

I've been a model immigrant contributed to the economy and the community and appreciate my host countries culture and traditions unlike the illegal immigrants invading the west , Carlos you're on to it .
Anyways fingers crossed I'll be playing a lot of BF6 hopefully so if anyone in Oceania server region want to party up for some fps fun I'd be keen ?

Honestly I think YouTubers are a big problem for cod yes there are a couple of good ones but I take more notice and give more credibility to communities like yours

Sunday got in 2 min. and played the next 4 hours. This game is really fun and cant wait for next weekend
