Is it just me or is cheating getting worse. Wallhacks aimbots cronus zen aim assist its all there. And then wanktivision ban legit players, whats wrong with that company.
They have made this game for so many years now, and they still manage too make the same mistakes over and over again

No. It's real. It's prevalent throughout the game. I'm on Xbox and, it seems Microsoft/Ubisoft could care less.

It's not just you. It's globally across all Call of Duty games. I can understand glitches like this in older Call of Duty games like Black Ops 3, but no... this is hitting games like MW2019, Black Ops Cold War (ESPECIALLY THAT ONE.), and the new Modern Warfare II...

I play pretty much all the time on Quick Play matches and can see the "content" or calibre of players very quickly from the start of the match. Usually I just leave and join another match with my fingers crossed. I am not going to tie my emotions all up in a knot and concentrate on trying to get at least some decent games in. I do hate that this is becoming more rampant and Activision seems to be doing less and less but the simple thing is that they have got pretty much all the money they can squeeze out of this release so they could really give a fuck less.....

i know there are cheaters out there but i know the non cheaters out number them so im not really worried about it. and i know there alot of players that cant stand getting less kills then others and cry cheater.

Won't get better until cod released on current gen consoles and PC only .
Hopefully that will stop the Cronus kids anyway as the new controllers can get updates.
And of course Acti actually doing something about the out of control cheating/hackers !

My brother and I had a similar thought. Consoles and PC should STAY apart. This cross-play killed and/or is killing Call of Duty. There's more reasons, but cross-play is not a good path for the franchise. The community is way too big for cross-play to be "good." There's hackers in the mix.

I am not saying the PC version shouldn't exist, just that cross-play shouldn't exist for THIS game franchise.

Agreed but it's the Cronus 'console cheats' that need the biggest hammer brought down on them , after all you can disable cross play.

They said in one of the updates, that Anti-Cheat will detect Cronus device(s). I'm not sure if it is working or not. But thats not what this hacking is. Its the aimbot, hacking software, etc. That's causing the big issues - go up, watch the video. They are saying that, if YOU are in a lobby with a hacker, your IP address will be leaked IN. THAT match, and they will show it. I'm not sure how its done, but more than one YouTuber are talking about this subject.

Aim Bots and super fast trigger assist are the two main cheats. There's more but, not sure Activision or Microsoft are doing anything to stop other methods and software hacks. If you have a VPN, it's hard to track.

I'm seeing dodgy players in nearly every game.
I'm a average/casual and have been playing since 2008. I think I've got a good eye for picking a very good player compared to players hacking/cheating.
I'm also seeing alot of players using kbm on consoles, is that so they get aim assist whilst using the kbm?

Killed cod for me it's no longer a fun game to jump on at the end of a days work.

So I've done some research and answered my own question about console players using kbm , they're actually using Cronus ffs!
The Cronus fools the PS4 Xbox into thinking it's a kbm.
Activision know this and don't do anything let alone ban these players!
Seems they care as much about honest players playing legit as they do about children !

I thought that the reportsystem was just for show. Yesterday i reported 2 players for cheating, and today i got 2 messages from Activision thet they have taken action against the players. I wonder if thats true?

Totally agree with this. At least let us turn cross play off. Playstation can turn it off. Why can't xbox?

Unpopular opinion: streamers have ruined call of duty. Like if you wanna do nothing but play cod all day, cool. Activision should look at time played and base matchmaking off that. If someone plays 13 hours a day why should they be in lobbies with people that get an hour if that a day. It's just not fun for the average gamer anymore

Yes, and no. Yes, some streamers ruin or ruined Call of Duty. For one example, and I don't mean this in a disrespectful way, but Nadeshot actually made a suggestion to Call of Duty devs in a livestream, to make it possible to BUY items. This is what happens when you give bad ideas or bad advice to companies - they take ideas and run with it.

No, streamers don't ruin games. Streamers bring free marketing to the games that are being played.

in my playing experience in cod i dont see alot of cheating. i would say
90 percent are straight and 10 percent are cheating. now if you want to see some cheating go play counter strike. all the complaints about the cheaters are coming from cry babies because they base their self esteem on k/d ratio. and because they suck at the game. sorry if i offended anyone thats just my opinion.
