Have you prestiged? Will you prestige?

I'm rapidly approaching level 70 so will soon have the option of prestiging for the first time.
A lot of my friends are sticking at level 70 and are not willing to sacrifice all their unlocked weapons, killstreaks and perks to enter Prestige Mode.

Prestige 1 - 10:

1. Extra Custom Class slot giving you 6 in total, New Emblem, New Title and unlocks "Prestige" challenges, including Veteran and Mastery challenges for each weapon.
2. New Emblem, New Title
3. Extra Custom Class slot giving you 7 in total, New Emblem, New Title
4. New Emblem, New Title
5. Extra Custom Class slot giving you 8 in total, New Emblem, New Title
6. New Emblem, New Title
7. Extra Custom Class slot giving you 9 in total, New Emblem, New Title
8. New Emblem, New Title
9. Extra Custom Class slot giving you 10 in total, New Emblem, New Title
10. New Emblem, New Title

For a few additional Class slots and a few new pictures i'm not sure i'm going to prestige either. What about you?

Prestige lenthen the game and improves your skill with all weapons not just your ownage weapons.Gamers who stay at 70 what are you scared off that you will suck or you wont get weapons back.Im 3rd prestige still going love m16 my ownage weapon but using 50cal at the mo.improve your skill lvl up

No, I will not prestige because I don't like the concept of prestige. I think it promotes some of the worst in FPSs, such as cheating, camping and spamming tubes.

I like to play the game for fun, not to constantly be trying to level up or unlock some weapon attachment or other. I don't want to try hard to do anything, I just want to play.

I find prestiging unrewarding, I did it once probably won't again. I hope Black ops has far better prestiging systems (Extra Camos or Unlocks).

I prestiged once and I wouldn't want to again. I rather enjoy all the guns instead of unlocking them. I agree with Succinct Monk and Lachy17689

I've prestiged once and am sitting on lvel 70 again. I won't prestige again until I've finished all the prestige challenges. I find some of the challenges a bit difficult like the one I'm trying to do now I've got to get 1000 plus kills, 300 plus headshots with the barret 50 cal. (frustrating). Like Phleabas said what are you scared of it'll be something different. Its not like it'll be a bad thing.

I prestiged 4 times, and got into a lobby, which I regret now.
