Hay KB Demon.. Or Anyone?? Nvidia Tesla GFX Accelerator Video Card

I have my eye on a good deal for an NVidia Tesla Graphics Accelerator Card... 8GB DDR5.. But it's not designed to actually hook up to a display... If I were to install this in my current system (Core i7-3930 w/ 24GB RAM & NVidia GTX970 Video) will I get a boost in GFX power?? If so, how much...

My short answer is, I don't think you can.

My slightly longer answer is that when nVidia were heavily behind the idea of using PhysX, they did allow you to use the processing power of a second GPU as a PhysX accelerator, but now that we have Tensor cores I very much doubt that you would see much benefit from adding the second GPU to your system.

The Tesla cards are for GPU-accelerated computing, this is the employment of a graphics processing unit (GPU) along with a computer processing unit (CPU) in order to facilitate processing-intensive operations such as deep learning, analytics and engineering applications.

It might be good for Ethereum mining if you can build a rig with it.

You should check out the PC that @freakdaddy64 is running, virtually identical spec to mine but he is rocking an RTX 2080 Ti, now that's a SWEEEEEETTT card.

Also remember, it's not the power of my PC that helped me get better at my game, it's the awesome community here on CoDForums that did that for me.

TESLA came in today.. I can't get it to boot on my ASUS P9X79 PRO mb..

I get a D4 error..

D4- PCI RESOURCE ALLOCATION ERROR. OUT OF RESOURCES

Any ideas how to fix that???

Hi, I bought a Tesla K80 card and tried to integrate it into a workstation PC (of course with sufficient ventilation). I already tried the card in combination with 3 different motherboards but no combination worked. The error I get from my Asus Rampage IV is: D4: PCI resource allocation error...
