Hive ruined after update 1.15

I have been using the HIVE Specialist to complete my set for the Hero gear except when I get kills with my hive it registers as direct impact grenades instead of hive kills. I did not have this issue before the update. Has anyone else been having the same problems?

I haven't seen this issue, but there were a lot of "fucking. bullshit." moments with Hive before the patch. I placed about 3 hives on a door, and some dipshit was able to get through without dying. Man, fuck that shit, that pissed me off. I love Hive, but it really needed some work.
