DMZ In-Game Communication not working

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but is the area with most interaction so hoping somebody will know the answer. I've tried to get in touch with Activision through their support page directly, but it's absolutely useless - and I can't even submit a ticket.

The issue is, my mic isn't working on my Turtle Beach Headset whilst playing Warzone. I CAN hear through my headphones, but when I talk into the mic nobody can hear me and it isn't even registering that I'm speaking.

  • I have gone into the Xbox Settings, and in the In-Game Settings, and everything is as it should be.
  • The Headset and Mic definitely DO work as I have used them in other games, and on Teams meetings for work and everybody can hear me clearly.
  • I am not banned from communicating by Activision - this is the only thing their website was useful for confirming.

Has this ever happened to anybody else, and if so - what was the solution?

I've the usual stuff - turned the Xbox off and on, unplugged and replugged in the headphone, done an update on the controller.

It's very odd, I was using it last Thursday night and it was fine - turned off the Xbox, and when I turned it back on Friday night it wasn't working anymore.

Any help is appreciated, as this game is very difficult and frustrating when you can't communicate!

This is happening across all game modes on Warzone 2.0 - not just DMZ.

The only thing that I can think to check is the audio setting in the actual game. Sometimes, (frequently) the updates provided by Activision can reset some of the settings. It could be that it is as simple as that. Good Luck!!

This has happened to me on Xbox. Go thru all the audio settings check your Mic levels and etc. Make sure you have not accidently muted yourself.

They do have coms issues from time to time but when it occurs you cannot hear anyone else and they cannot hear you typically. But I have had the issue many times where I am muted and can hear others. A lot of times its a party chat setting issue
