Warzone is this person hacking?

hi all I am new here
I have come across a lot of cheater in warzone but what's worse is a friend I have played with a lot showed me a few screen shots of the trail of smoke coming from his team mate
but when I look at the pictures I can see some red marks
I guess he forgot they would show up in screen shot
other sus thing is after I asked what red marks are he said he did not know what they were but removed pictures from discord straight away
are these hacks if so I will not be playing with him anymore but I am unsure as he always carries on about hating cheaters
please confirm my suspicion or clear his name

thanks guys I did suspect but because I have played with him for so long started in black ops 4
I trusted him and like I said he usually goes on and on about hating cheaters

ojo 100% esp hacking ive seen this heaps on pubg aswell he knows where everyone is and how far away they are
