New CODGhosts Personalization Packs unveiled

In Activision's attempt to pushing more microtransactions, they've unveiled new packs for Call of Duty: Ghosts. Activision and Co. revealed that Call of Duty: Ghosts will be getting new Personalization Packs on March 4, 2014.

[CODGhosts] is getting a set of brand new soldier skins and personalization packs this March 4 themed around even more iconic Ghosts and Modern Warfare characters. Check out the details below provided by Activision community manager, One of Swords.

For $1.99 you can get either...

- Gabriel Rorke
- Irman Zakhaev
- Hazmat Suit

For $3.99 you can get...

- Legend Pack: Vladimir Makarov

That legend Pack gets you the character - Makarov, and the following bonuses:

- Weapon Camo
- Player Patch
- Player Card
- Weapon Reticle
- Player Background

These microtransactions fall under the same DLC contract that Microsoft signed with Activision so, therefore - all DLC's/microtransactions will be released a month after the date when the DLC's/microtransactions was released. Meaning, if Captain Price's Legend Pack was released on Feb 20th, it'll be released on March 20th.

Are you guys buying these things? I never quite understood buying these skins/customization things, it doesn't add any new game elements just look and feel. Just like the wolfskin, doesnt make m better or anything.
