Greetings, Devil Dog! Welcome to the Call of Duty Forums. It looks like you're looking forward to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, but haven't created an account yet. Why not take a minute to I have been having performance issues with the PC version of Warzone for some time now. The issue is my player keeps running after releasing the W key. Player also keeps running after strafing left or right. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been killed because of this.
All of my drivers are fully up to date and Windows is fully up to date. I have used websites to test my keyboard to make sure the keys aren’t repeating after pressing them. I’ve even switched keyboards and got the same results. I’m currently using Windows 11 but the problem exists in Windows 10 as well. I have tried everything I can think of and can’t fix the problem. I am gaming on an Acer Nitro AN517-51. It has an intel core i5 running at 2.4 ghz with 16 go of ram and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650. The game used to play flawlessly.
The problem rears it’s ugly head on a 400 mbs/sec internet connection and one much, much slower. I am at my wits end and would love some advice. Thanks very much in advance.
