BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE was the closest thing we have lately...

I remember when SWAT 3 came out.. It allowed you to customize your avatar so it displayed your name across the back of your tactical vest..

I remember at the time, seeing my dead body on the ground with my name blazoned across the back.. Gave me flashback nightmares for a week....

Didn't much play the game after that... :^/
