Warzone Problems with Cod

Basically long story short, i had i3-7th gen with 1050ti and i sold it and bought an i5-8th gen with 1660ti, thought i can play cod better and stuff, i got the game and everything and its so laggy i get these spikes when my fps keeps dropping from 110 to 8 and sounds are bit behind and i dont understand why this is happening. i also play league of legends and i get bout 400 fps in the custom game and stuff, but when i try to play cod it just fps drops and drops and impossible to play?

My geforece experience drivers are up to date

is the problem with the cod them im guessing?

It could be just a problem with your settings. I have most of my settings to either low, medium, or off in some cases. I would experiment with settings and try to bring them as low as possible. I still don't believe the game has made strides to reduce stress on one's computer but either way, I would look at your graphical settings!

How were your frames before you updated hardware? I play on a poor CPU by modern standards - I built it for CS Go back in the day. I7 7700k with a GTX 980 4GB. I play with most of the settings on medium or low but still get between 60-100fps consistently.

If these lag spikes and frame drops have only started occurring since you updated HW I'd try updating or reinstalling drivers - your i5 and 1660ti should be capable enough.
