DMZ Sniper Rifle Scope That Computes Bullet Drop

I have a schweet Victus sniper rifle tricked out with all the goodies, including that scope that computes bullet drop...

In Season 1, that was done automatically.. NOW in S02, you have to hit a key to compute bullet drop..

My problem (one of many ) is that the SHIFT key is both STEADY AIM and COMPUTE BULLET DROP...

Does anyone know what key would be set to COMPUTE BULLET DROP??

I am not sure... When I use that rifle and look thru the scope it says FOCUS is the shift key and BULLET DROP is also the SHIFT key...

I try double tapping the SHIFT key but that doesn't work..

It's a helluva feature that I loved in S01... Can make fantastic shots from a mile +

But I can't get it to work in S02...

Ahhh I see what you are saying..

Maybe change the FOCUS bind to another key and see if SHIFT is still for BULLET DROP..

maybe when you push shift to focus its auto bullet dropping and you dont have to worry about it

It's a shame that there is no way to test things BEFORE you deploy into Al Mazrah with the rifle.

OK That video explains it a bit better.

It's a somewhat convoluted process, but what have to do is

1. Aim at your target.

2. Tap SHIFT to set the range.

3. Bullet Drop is computed.

4. *HOLD* SHIFT to steady/focus the shot.

A lot to do when you are under fire, but I guess it will come instinctively with practice..

I don't think the range would have the distance.. Unless they put you in a different range with a Sniper Rifle..

should not be under alot of fire with sniper. i would think you would be at a distance when sniping. i go in dmz with sniper and pick up secondary as i go unless i have a choice of 2nd to take with me.

Yea, the range is only like 77m long.. Can't get a good assessment of the Bullet Drop compute..

But I deployed with my Victus and tested it and it's like the video says..

Tap SHIFT to set the range and then HOLD SHIFT to steady/focus...

So now it's just all about practice..

Yea, it's a really nifty feature... You set the range and the scope computer computes the bullet drop.. You simply ignore the cross hairs and put the red dot on the target and, all things being equal, it's a guaranteed hit..

Excellent scope if you are in Counter Sniper mode...

So how is it working for you?

I ran a sniper weapon with out that lately and ended up sniping another 6 man team that got dropped but then had 2 guys bounce back up and they ended up reviving their whole damn team while 2 of us were at sniper distance.

Lets just say I hit one out of the 2 and the results were not good as the distance I was at was NOT nice.

I fear bullet drop was getting me.
