Sniping only gamemode

Hey everyone,

Let's talk about the controversial topic of red dot sniping in MW3's Snipers Only game mode. While some might find it fun or "challenging," I believe using red dots fundamentally contradicts the core principles of sniping and takes away from the intended experience.

Secondly, red dot sniping throws off the balance of the game mode. Snipers Only is meant to be a test of sniper skill, where players compete on an even playing field. Red dots give an unfair advantage, allowing users to dominate at close-to-medium ranges where traditional snipers struggle. This discourages genuine sniping and pushes gameplay towards a generic "deathmatch" feel.

Finally, it simply feels dishonest and inauthentic to call red dot sniping "sniping." It disrespects the skill and dedication required to master traditional sniping techniques. Imagine if Call of Duty called any weapon used at long range a "sniper"? The distinction matters!

I wish I had enough time to post more but I am too pushed for time but my main gripe is them not including wasteland and derail but they put stash house in so they were more interested in quick scoping,no scoping and trick shots then a proper big map snipe battle.

If They were going to add Iron sights they should have allowed iron sights on all the sniper rifles.
I am not a fan of triangles in the scopes much prefer a cross.The longbow and red dot is cheesie too easy but the biggest sin is the lack of good snipe maps in the snipes only playlist.
