Question. I'm currently playing this mode and I'm finding something odd. Others in the game can call in airstrikes, UAVs, etc. etc. But when I get on a 3, 5, 7 kill streak I'm not able to call in any of my of said above options. Could someone please educate me on what I may be doing incorrectly??

What streaks have you got selected?

I am assuming that you have selected some, you can get to your streaks faster by running the Hardline Perk which means that you would only need 2 kills to get your first streak.

I have reached up to a seven killstreak which would unlock three items I can select but it never comes up as if I was playing Ground War.

This may or not be your case...

somebody else may be using a killstreak, airspace occupied already, doesn’t allow someone else to use the airspace at the same time, if not enough room.

What perks do you have active?

There is an option that lets you turn your killstreaks into extra perks, so you can double your perks at the cost of giving up your streaks. You will start with the original 3 you normally select, then when you get to a 3 kill streak, your next perk is activated, and so on until you have all 6 perks active or you die.

I think the option is in the perks menu to the right of the main choices, if you have enabled the specialist option in that menu then your killstreaks will be disabled.

They wouldn't work well for me, the only way I have managed to unlock higher killstreaks is through using care boxes and using kill chain so I can use my early kill killstreaks such as the cruise missiles towards building up for my later killstreaks such as the chopper gunner.

I've only ever managed to get juggernaut through care packages so I never select that as a streak option.

Not sure if you got me! I meant it was a good idea to why the other guy’s killstreak didn’t work!

They may be running pointman. I don't understand the whole mechanics of it but everything that gets you XP counts toward killstreaks. Capturing points, UAV assist, you name it. Killing an attacker or defender is worth several hundred points instead of just one kill. I run it on grind so if I collect a large number of tags and turn them in I can get all three of your killstreaks at once.

I'm not quite sure. Sometimes I get my killstreak perk and sometimes I don't. I have no idea if it has to do with the server or a bug in the game.

I was having an issue where I felt I should have been getting a killstreak as I was certain I had got enough kills, but when I viewed a replay of the match after I could see that some of the messages that I thought were kills were actually for assists.

Look at the right-hand side of your screen during play, you will see your killstreak options displayed in a column with some little pips next to it, each kill fills a pip and once you have filled enough pips to unlock a killstreak it will unlock and on PC you can press 3, 4, or 5 to activate it (6 for activating a care package streak), but getting killed wipes away all of your pips, so try not to get killed.
