What gamers and people in the industry fail to realize, with the hackers that ruin the experiences of the legitimate players will end the industry.

Would you spend $50-$100 to buy a game to enjoy and log in to find hackers ruining your game? You would not buy the next game in that franchise or from that company. Because they can't stop hackers. They try and fail.

A long time ago I was in a lobby back in the Steam days, playing COD 4. One clan bragged about members of the clan that worked for punkbuster and valve. So, they know how to work around the anti-cheat measures.

So, I ask the industry. How many of your employees are writing these hacks and selling them on the side? How else do you explain how fast they come out with new hacks as soon the old ones are discovered and blocked.

You are fighting a losing battle until you look into your own companies and clean house.

Unless drastic measures are taken, the industry will dry up and crumble to dust. Then the video game industry will be back to solo player games and the multi-player game will be lost in the annals of history.

Why would a company make a game in a genera costing millions of dollars that no one wants to buy?

This is actually a subject I brought up two separate times... I expect a Gaming Crash, and soon.
