Warzone Thoughts on Warzone Balance

Overall, this game mode is a ton of fun

However, there are some aspects that REALLY take a chunk of the fun outta the game
Certain aspects that are TOO dominant that really take away the fun

1st on the List is SNIPERS
Its a big map, it makes sense that people want sniper rifles
I get that

HOWEVER, the effectiveness of snipers need to be curtailed a little bit, make em easier to suppress
These adjustments I think should be WARZONE ONLY
But I think snipers need to be treated the same as in HALO
If you are scoped in (with any sniper type optic) and you get hit, you get forced OUT of scope, requiring the sniper to re-zoom
Keeps snipers VERY potent at range
But quickly losing effectiveness if within the effective range of other weapons

Additionally, Thermal optics need to be adjusted, such that they aren't a FLAT upgrade over standard sniper scopes
A realistic tweak that would ALSO help balance, is Thermals have to powerup every time you ADS
A few seconds worth
Keeps em as effective for HARD sniping, but not very effective for popping in and out for taking shots
Makes a definitive tradeoff between Thermal and Regular sniper optics

SCAR feels VERY weak in this game mode
Its greater damage per hit doesn't make up for its low ROF
I think it needs a damage buff
Same for the FAL
6 shots to down a fully armored target with body shots just falls behind any other automatic weapon

I agree with almost everything you said. I don't really see a problem with the SCAR but maybe that's because I don't use it enough.
