Hi Guys,
First of all, i want to say im really disappointed about the fact i cant talk in the other forum of www.callofduty.com.
I dont know what happened little over a year ago, but i still cant react or say anything anymore in those forums. I think its something to do with my profile, it not being complete orso, but it is, and i cant find anything. I gave up on it a pretty long time ago, but now again i want to say some stuff.... at least to Treyarch.
Its really frustrating that the other forum dont work for me.
I dont know if they read this stuff, but i want to get it of my chest anyway.
As a Zombies player myself im really happy with the game mode, its the only reasson i buy call of duty and all DLC that comes with it.
(Probably many players... that is why i think its important to keep zombies players also a little happy)
I want to start out by thanking treyarch for again a really good zombies in the new black ops 2 game, im happy with most parts of it. Like how you guys put all these new stuff together, its great. Tranzit is also a nice game mode/map, lot's of good stuff. For example, the EMP-Pause System works great and im so happy you guys put that in, same for the host migration, cheers on that. There's the ranking system, nice job.
Actually like i said.... most of the zombies is just great. There is so much i can say good stuff about, so im just gonna skip to the part i really want to say.....
It seems you guys really listen to your fans and i kind of hope i will be heard too, as i know a lot of players will agree with me on the following stuff....
When you play grief mode and your team is doing well and is winning, it happens too many times that people dashboard... i mean really really a lot. I wouldnt be bothered with it, but everybody in that game gets another losegame to the leaderboards. Cant this be diffirent? Can just the guy that loses connection.... or more often.... the guy that dashboards... cant he just get the losegame? And the rest of the players nothing, or a win game at least?
Zombies mode dont have a lobby leaderboards... I think this sucks. There's no good reasson why it's not there. This would have made for a much more rewarding game.... please update and put that back in.
Zombies also have leaderboards for 1,2,3 and 4 players... But it's actually really hard to start up a game with the players you want, there's no private match anymore, like in BO 1. It sometimes took us an hour to start a game with the players you wanted and thats just really really really bad, its also frustrating and in the end you find yourself cursing the players that wont leave your lobby. Really sad because they mean well.
There needs to be a private match, that works exactly the same as in BO 1.
Diffirent then the custom game option.... That Dont Save To The Leaderboards, ofcourse due to the change settings part..... please update and put back in "PRIVATE MATCH".
There is much more to say, both good and bad. But this is already a too long thread, so i'll end with one last but certainly not least annoying fact.... glitchers and modders!
Like i said before im really into zombies and its actually mostly the only game i play.
When you like zombies mode... after a while you start getting better at it and you sooner or later will get intrested in the leaderboards more and more. To me the leaderboards is one of the great attractions of the game mode. Glitchers and cheaters at all, they really ruin an otherwise great leaderboards. Its just really sad to get really high ranked, put in a lot time just to have the guy next to you in the leaderboards get there by cheating. It takes a lot of fun out of the game, and lately i feel like not trying anymore. The replay value is totally gone when this is the case. I mean, ones you played a few rounds there's nothing new anymore, there is absolutly no reasson to start another zombies game if you wouldnt do it for the leaderboards. Im glad to see you guys at least try and keep up with patches. But i really feel like you guys at treyarch should ban or at least severely punish the purps.
(resetting all stats, leaderboards, prestiges, gamerscores etc.)
Keep the leaderboards save from cheaters and fun for us all.
Personally i think your game would sell better if you keep this stuff in line, more players leave the game in the store because of cheaters than the cheaters leaving the game because they cant cheat.
In other words....
Cheaters will always buy the game, even when they find out they cant cheat, But others might give up on the game because of the cheaters having their way.
(I feel the same about the MP biggest screw ups... being: Quickscoping and quickproning, this screwed up the MP)
I hope you guys read this stuff and see how it is.
