Because MW2 is so good, everyone thought BO would be better, so they all bought it. But now only the sad addicts that love Cod so much think BO is acctually better than MW2!

Actually, its more of a double-edge sword. A lot of people HATE Treyarch. The reason why Activision was able to bring record-breaking 550 million, is because Activision acted on the opportunity that COD4 presented. If something works, you need to build on it, in this case, COD4 worked beyond Activision's expectations. So, the company went ahead and pulled all the marketing stops to make that 550 million cash-back.

If COD4 didn't do well as Activision thought it would - we wouldn't have MW2. And the game engine that COD4 was using wouldn't be the "master" engine within Activision for future COD's. It would be a different, better engine, instead.

With MW2, Activision reached the casuals faster. With Black Ops, Activision reached MORE casuals.

i see what you're getting at but either way, mw2 is better than black ops will ever be. and if ifinity ward came back for like a week to fix the game codes and get rid of the hackers, i will bet that more than half the people on black ops will go to mw2 again.
