Zombies: Not Receiving Aetherium Crystals

After finishing the easter egg I noticed that all my saved aetherium crystals were lost and that I did not receive any aetherium crystals for completeing the easter egg, alhtough the rewards screen showed that I had received two. I played another game to make sure and yet again the rewards screen showed that I had received two crystals but my cyrstal tally shows 0. Has anybody else encountered this? I also lost my progress on a few challenges.

After reaching the prestige level all the crystals awarded to me from that point forward was suddenly available.
