Why is it that every time that I boot up this game I need to wait 20mins for the damn game to scan my files??

PC Gamer: Nearly Dangerous
There was a bug, I think it has been fixed now, but if it happens again try skipping the scan and starting the game, it worked for me and I haven't had the scan come up again since doing that.
